ARC (Association
of Religious Communities) - provides training and resources for
the people of the greater Danbury area.
Children's Rescue Mission - Teupasenti, Honduras
Community Kitchen of Torrington - a soup kitchen in Torrington, CT Covenant to Care - pairs social workers and churches to help with providing for the needs of children in crisis. Elon Homes - a residential home for children with emotional needs in Elon, NC Gideons - provides Bibles to hotels, hospital and to service people Greenwoods Counseling Service - resources counseling services for those in Litchfield County Habitat for Humanity - Honduras building houses for God’s people Heifer Project - providing animals to help families be self-sufficient High Watch Farm - a residential home for those recovering from substance abuse. Housatonic Youth Service Bureau - provides training and counseling to the young people of the Litchfield Hills. Kent Affordable Housing - seeks to provide affordable housing in Kent Kent Nursing Association - provides medical services for those in Kent who are homebound or recently released from the hospital. Loaves & Fishes (New Milford) - a soup kitchen in New Milford, CT Neighbors In Need - provides food, shelter, education and wellness programs across the U.S. and Puerto Rico. These programs focus especially on women and Native Americans. New Milford Hospice - provides services for those near the end of life. Oratory of the Little Way - a center for healing ministry One Great Hour of Sharing - provides funds for emergency aid and relief, and development programs in developing countries. Our Church’s Wider Mission - supports the work of the United Church of Christ, in Connecticut and nationally throughout the United States. Women's Support Services provides resources, training and counseling to women in crisis |
